Greenwich are planning on developing a single point of access for children and young people to access mental health support and they want this to be shaped by the community.

Basecamp in partnership with ProInfinity are delighted to announce that HORN PARK is open for Holiday Activities and Food Camp (HAF Camp) for 4 weeks, this summer holiday from Monday 28th July - Monday 18th August 2025.
If you are eligible for income related free school meals, then you can book on for 4 hours a day, free childcare including a hot meal. We have 30 FREE SPACES AVAILABLE and a few spaces are also reserved for children with EHCPs so do get in touch to find out more.
This will be running from 9am - 1pm (extended hours available from 1pm - 3pm for £5 per hour via Basecamp Childcare)

Young Greenwich and Charlton Athletic Community Trust are pleased to invite local families to the Young Greenwich Community Fun Day, taking place at Hornfair Park, Charlton on Saturday, July 12th from 1pm to 5pm.
The event is open to young people and their families from across the borough and is a fantastic opportunity to come together and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon celebrating our local community.
The day promises to be a great mix of entertainment, learning, and community spirit, and we’d love for your students and their families to be part of it.
Plans are fully underway for our PTA Summer Fayre that will be held at the school on Thursday 3 rd July, 3:15-5pm.
We are please asking for donations of like-new toys. Please bring these to the school office before Tuesday 1 st July.
We are inviting all children to come to school in their own clothes on Friday 20th June in exchange for a full bottle (alcoholic or non alcoholic) for the tombola.
We will be selling raffle tickets before the fayre, they will be sent home soon. If you are able to volunteer before, or during the fayre, please email the PTA at pfahornpark@gmail.com
We will also be having a cake stall at the fayre and would greatly appreciate donations of cakes to be brought to the school office on the morning of Thursday 3 rd July.

Compass proposes to merge with another high-performing academy trust to strengthen educational excellence for 9,000+ pupils.
If you are passionate about your community, have an idea to improve health and wellbeing where you live and live in Horn Park & Middle Park, Plumstead & Glyndon or Blackheath & Charlton you can bid for a grant, from £250 - £1000, to deliver a project in your community.

Activities will include: team games, multi-sports, arts & crafts, board games, slime making and lots of free play outside. We focus on fresh air and fun!
The core day is 9am - 3pm and costs £25, you will need to provide a packed lunch.
